Kurt Fischer brings over twenty years of experience working in New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles. He served as a leader on the John & Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park (Des Moines, Iowa), the Museum of the Moving Image (Astoria, New York), and on the newly constructed Apple Park (Cupertino, CA). He has studied under the tutelage of renowned architects & designers such as Michael Maltzan Architecture, Foster + Partners, Agrest & Gandelsonas Architects, Kengo Kuma Associates Architects (Tokyo), Leeser Architecture, and furniture designer – Nick Dine (son of pop-artist, Jim Dine).

He is interested in creating bespoke poetic experiences while pursuing emerging computational and fabrication techniques in design to utilize their role in the better development of sustainable buildings.
